DurkaDeno Racing was created as a last minute addition to the all encompassing AKA Rally.

Having prior AKA experience from the inaugural 2004 AKA Rally (featured on MTV’s True Life: I’m Rallying to L.A.), and recieving the “Most Dedicated Team Award”; registering for the AKA for another trip wasn’t a question of “if”, just “when”.

Why AKA 2008?
Well, a fateful August day… To be precise August 13th, 2008 @ 12:54PM; Ryan sent me a text message stating “AKA Rally starts in 5 days”. From then on it was nonstop mental mayhem. Within hours emails were sent, phone calls were made, and finances were sorted to be registered for the 2008 AKA Rally (this year to be presented on a 6 part series on SPEED). Now we spend our last days before departure frantically preparing our systems (mental, physical, and vehicular) for the journey ahead of us. More specifically, half of the AKA due to outside constraints.
